Endeavor Design Inc. was founded in 2002 in Vancouver, British Columbia by professional snowboarder Max Jenke. It was born out of a desire to do things differently, to create products like no other that focus on the rider, on the design and the emotions that snowboarding evokes. Fast forward to today, Endeavor Design Inc is a Certified B-Corporation, designing and manufacturing three global brands selling to 35 countries and 2,000 retailers.

We are a small, dynamic business that has a vibrant and fast paced culture. We are seeking to employ a creative Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator to help us drive our brands forward through innovative marketing strategies that grow brand awareness and build community.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving effective and efficient marketing campaigns ensuring continued growth of our business. You will play a pivotal role in determining and achieving our vision, ensuring seamless operations, executing the marketing strategy, and creating content alongside our creative team and ambassadors. With your valuable contribution to the business in this role, the opportunities are endless!
 

Primary tasks (but not limited to):

  • Marketing Strategy

    • Develop, coordinate, and execute effective marketing campaigns that resonate with both B2B and D2C) audiences.

    • Continuously innovate and “Think” like the market, understanding snowboarders and how the industry operates.

    • Develop a comprehensive digital strategy, including campaigns, calendars, and affiliate partnerships.

    • Collaborate with internal creative department and external creators (photographers, videographers, designers) to craft captivating campaigns.

    • Manage ambassador, team, and affiliate promotional product programs.

  • Analysis and Planning

    • Analyze market trends, customer feedback and campaign performance to inform data-driven decision making.

    • Contribute to the development of product plans, pricing strategies, advertising initiatives, and market share growth.

    • Co-ordinate trade shows to showcase our brands and connect with our community.

  • Content Creation and Management

    • Drive content development across various channels, including email campaigns, social media, website, blog, product marketing copy, calendars, and any other content marketing channels.

    • Manage content through external advertising apps and ensure a strong social media presence on platforms like Shopify.

    • Voicing the brand and vision to the world.

    • Write copy for all selling tools for all 3 brands.

    • Manage in-store marketing liaising with team on deliverables and deadlines.

  • Collaboration and Engagement

    • Interact with customers and engage with athletes and influencers to strengthen brand relationships.

    • Maintain strong public relations and uphold a positive brand image.

    • Build and nurture sustainable relationships with consumers and B2B accounts.

  • Marketing Channels

    • Employ a variety of marketing channels, both organic and paid, including content marketing, PPC advertising, SEO, SEM, outdoor marketing, social media advertising, email campaigns, lead generation initiatives, website design, landing page enhancement, copywriting, and comprehensive performance analytics of marketing campaigns.

  • Administration

    • Provide marketplace references for catalogue layout after line planning.

    • Plan, organize and manage promotional materials and co-ordinate with team.

    • Communicate and collaborate with printers for any necessary printed materials.

    • Support sales staff with sales data, market trends, forecasts, and new product information

    • Social Media Reporting

    • Analyze sales forecasts and prepare marketing strategies, plans, and objectives.

    • Monitor budgets by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.

    • Oversee creative, digital, and financial marketing projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • University Degree or Diploma in Marketing and Communications

  • Creative and innovative thinker with clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • An in-depth understanding of the snowboarding market

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills

  • Deadline orientated with the flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.

  • Knowledge of budgeting principles for marketing campaigns.

Experience Using:

  • Adobe Creative Suite

  • Microsoft Office - particularly Excel

  • Shopify

  • Google Ads

  • Facebook Ads Manager

  • Google Analytics

The successful applicant will have a minimum of two years professional marketing and communications experience with a focus in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts and media negotiations.
